walked... 6.5.... miles... at... the ... same... pace... and... without... stop...ping! I am so proud of myself! This weekend I saw all my hard work start to pay off on the scale. I feel amazing already!
I had an amazing fourth of July weekend. It all started on Friday with a trip Denton Farm Park for the 40th Annual Southeast Threshers Reunion. This is where my love of John Deere tractors began when my dad bought me a diecast of a John Deere Model A when I was 10. I have been going to the Thresher's Reunion all my life. My good friend Josh went with me and had a blast. I was so excited to share it with someone!
Saturday was laid back until around 3:30 when I met Suzanne to go to the Fun Fourth Festival in downtown Greensboro. From there we bounced over to a cookout with some friends then over to Caribou Coffee to hangout and have great conversations with Ashley and Josh.
Sunday was a day of worship and reflecting on how blessed we are to live in a country where we can freely worship our almighty creator. I had a cookout after church at my place for about 12 people and had a blast! I love entertaining and being surrounded by friends! They loved on Luna cat and there is now a new game in the house, throw the ball up the steps for him to catch and/or chase. He got so worked up he started panting like a dog. He was so cute with his little tongue hanging out! We gathered at The Well for a quick service then drifted over to the Friendly Center area to watch fireworks. We had so much fun in each other's presence! I am truly blessed with such amazing people in my life!
