Happy Turkey Day!

There is a lot for me to be thankful for...  It would take me the whole day to list everything accurately.  I am watching the Macy's Parade.  I can't help but be reminded of when I saw it in person in 2006.  What an amazing experience and it is nothing like watching it on TV.

Things have been challenging at work and amazing in other areas.  I've decided for sure it is time for a change.  I've been passionate about something all of my life and I think it is time to officially pursue it.  I'm tired of my own excuses for not pursuing my dreams.  All I can think of at this point is my mother giving me that look that says "I knew you would!"

I got to spend a majority of last weekend with my love.  He is so special to me.  I will have to say he is probably the only man on the face of this planet that can drag me to a crowd infested, not a seat to be had Kenan Stadium at UNC for the NC State vs. Carolina game.  See folks, I am a Duke fan.  Don't tell anyone but I found myself cheering for Carolina but completely by mistake... just saying.  I can't be somewhere like that and not be happy for a touchdown or field goal.  Who can agree?  Basketball season is going to be lots of fun with my Carolina fan.  I am so thankful for him!

My heart goes out to a friend who just found out a guy she was seriously dating just 6 months ago is now engaged to another girl.  He is lucky I don't know where he lives seeming as though I am in the triangle area a lot now.  I love you AW and if you need anyone to talk to and/or have lunch with I am here.

Yesterday I got to go for a walk with a friend for the first time in at least a month.  It was great but her positive outlook on relationships have kind of gone missing.  My advice is too cliche for her so I'm not going to give any more.  I just want everyone to be happy.  She did get good news on her town home yesterday which is very exciting.  Hopefully that will brighten her perspective in other areas as well.

New Kids on the Block is going to tour with Back Street Boys in the coming year.  They closed the AMAs together and I would have to say it was an amazing performance.  I hopefully can make it to a concert.

Well, it is time to load up the car with my dirty laundry.  One day I will get to be thankful for my own washer and dryer.

Many thanks and blessings to you on this Thanksgiving day,

Manda
